FlagCo designs and manufactures a complete line of flagpole lighting for commercial, residential, and institutional installations. Every fixture ships from our facility in Acworth, GA. Commercial Beacons (Our Flagship Product)
The FlagCo Beacon is a patented LED fixture that replaces the standard truck and finial at the top of a commercial flagpole. It illuminates the flag from above, eliminating the ground-level light trespass caused by traditional uplights. All Beacon models are Dark Sky approved (IDA certified) when specified with the integrated visor accessory, and Intertek (ETL) certified for safety.

Why a Pole-Top Beacon Instead of a Ground Uplight?
A pole-top beacon sits inches from the flag, so nearly all of its light reaches the fabric. A ground-mounted uplight positioned 30 feet below the flag loses most of its output to the inverse square law and produces significant ground-level glare. An 800-lumen Beacon can illuminate a flag as effectively as a 10,000+ lumen ground fixture while using a fraction of the energy and producing zero light trespass. This is why every FlagCo Beacon qualifies for International Dark-Sky Association approval with the visor accessory.
Solar Flagpole Lighting
For installations without electrical access, FlagCo offers solar-powered options across the product line. Commercial Beacon models are available in 12V DC versions that pair with our Solar Power Packages (50W and 100W). Residential solar LED lights provide a simpler solution for home flagpoles, mounting directly to the pole with no wiring required.
Obstruction Lighting
Flagpoles near airports, heliports, or flight paths may require FAA-compliant obstruction lighting. FlagCo carries L-810 steady-burning red obstruction lights for structures that exceed the height thresholds set by FAA Advisory Circular 70/7460-1M. Accessories and Transformers
We also stock the accessories that complete a flagpole lighting installation: 277V to 120V step-down transformers for commercial building power, 120V to 12V transformers for solar conversions, photocells for automatic dusk-to-dawn operation, replacement LED bulbs, and visor accessories for Dark Sky compliance. All components are the same parts we use in our own factory assemblies.
