The Beacon Visor is an upgrade add-on to our patented External Flagpole Beacon line of flagpole down-lighting. With this upgrade, you can reduce light pollution to a never before seen level.
The Beacon Visor blocks a straight line of sight from the Beacon, allowing light to target your flag.
Applications include when neighbors such as hotels and high rises have windows at the same height as the Beacon.
Other uses include State and Federal Parks, or places where a reduction of light pollution is key.
Note: When the Beacon Visor is added to a Beacon Plus model, the fixture is not DarkSky approved.
